When Mary and I were planning the engagement session a month ago, we hoped for good, clear weather in San Francisco, which can be a hit or miss considering it's known as the foggy city. The week of our engagement session, there was definitely a heat wave going around, which dissipated as soon as the weekend came around.
We tested our luck and were blessed with beautiful weather. The sky was mostly clear, temperature in the mid-60s, and some wind. Oops, actually A LOT of wind!
Mary and Conrad braved some pretty fierce winds that nearly knocked us over several times. We started with a few simple portraits as we walked down towards the cliffs. The wind was almost too crazy, so after staying on top of the cliff for a few moments, we made our way down to the rocky shore and finished up at the Sutro Baths, shooting until the sun went down.
The wind, the way Mary and Conrad were just so natural and playful with each other in front of the camera - everything was just right.
