Excited to photograph these silly, fun-loving lovebirds’ wedding this summer. Throughout this session I honestly didn’t have to tell them to do anything, just where to stand or sit. And they did the rest themselves. We started off in the Yerba Buena Gardens, explored the Union Square area a bit, and ended up in Bernal Heights before they had to jet off back home.
Lady luck was kind to us! We nabbed a randomly warm, sunny day in early February in San Francisco for Megan and Justin's classic SF engagement session at the Palace of Fine Arts and Baker Beach.
What a fantastic way to spend a cool Sunday afternoon for the start of March. Natalie and Gabe and I explored a small stretch of Big Basin Redwoods State Park for their engagement session. Big props to the both of them for being up for anything (and essentially hiking in dressy clothes and shoes)!
I love engagement sessions. For weddings, I stay quieter, not manipulating the scene, anticipating, and catching moments.
Engagements are a different beast. They're more relaxed (normal clothes and no reception to get to!), a little more private, and have a different mindset.
Let's go somewhere awesome and make cool images of the two of you.
