San Francisco City Hall has an energy. Every day there are excited couples picking up their licenses, tourists wandering around the hallways, and lots and lots of people getting their photos taken.

My approach to photographing City Hall is still the same as if I were photographing a wedding at a venue; the photojournalist in me wants to capture the full story - the two of you checking in and eagerly awaiting your ceremony slot, little moments between you and the people you bring to witness, and the feelings and energy afterward. We’ll take a relaxed walk through the floors and I’ll guide you through some easy portraits that feel true to the both of you Nothing overly posed that screams “photoshoot,” just an honest story of what it felt like to be there.
