PRICING GUIDE
Dear marriers,
It’s your wedding day, not my photoshoot. I believe deeply that my role as photographer on your wedding day is to tell an honest story without being obtrusive or fabricating moments for photo ops.
You and your guests will have the space to live into your wedding day with a photographer who approaches this intimate access with empathy and a calming energy.
And just as importantly - your experience with me should be one of ease and trust. What matters most to you about your wedding day and your photographs is what matters most to me.

ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS
DOCUMENTARY LIFESTYLE SESSION:
A slower, more natural storytelling approach with an emphasis on your candid interactions. It might look like photographing you in your home together, wandering through your favorite neighborhood, and ending at your favorite eatery or hillside to watch the sunset. Ideally, I’m here to join you for what a date together looks like, with just a few “Hey guys, look this way real quick!” sprinkled in. I’ll be with you for about 3-4 hours, taking time to simply document the two of you together. Travel to the Bay Area is included.

SACRAMENTO SESSION:
A 45 minute session with gentle guidance at one Sacramento location. We’ll keep things simple, relaxed, and focused on the natural connection between you.

QUESTIONS / MORE INFO
-
Family portraits are important historical documentations! It’s a rare moment when everyone is together, dressed their best, and likely the photos you’ll first share as prints with loved ones.
I’ll capture the family photos you provide quickly and efficiently, making the process easy and painless for everyone involved.
I recommend doing the immediate family photos an hour and a half before the ceremony, and any remaining extended family photos during cocktail hour.
-
Nearly all of my clients say this, you’re not alone :)
When it’s time for a few portraits, I’ll guide you to the best light, offer natural, simple directions, and keep it brief so you feel comfortable and at ease. No excessive PDA needed or spinning around in a field if that’s not your thing, and no need to spend hours away from your guests.
The wonderful thing about weddings is that it doesn’t need to revolve around photography. Live into your day and be present, and the photographs will simply reflect that.

Because I’m always searching for that decisive moment, I shoot digital for weddings so I don’t miss a beat.
Alongside making sure I avoid those half-blinks or half expressions by being able to take multiple images of the same scene, my workflow currently works best with modern gear that is flexible in all types of lighting conditions and that have the ability to write data in two separate cards for redundancy.
-
Your wedding gallery is typically delivered 4-6 weeks after the wedding. For a full day wedding you can expect at least 450 final images, or 50-75 images per hour of coverage.
Images are delivered as high-resolution JPG files available to download through your online gallery.
You have full personal usage rights, including printing and sharing.

I photograph nearly all weddings as a single shooter as a personal preference, and my clients appreciate the smaller media footprint this leaves at their event and allows me to blend in well to get those candids.
There are times when adding a second photographer is beneficial to your coverage, such as:
1. You’re getting ready in two different locations and want coverage of each side at the same time.
2. You’ve invested heavily into the details and design of your wedding and want to ensure those are captured comprehensively.
3. Your timeline has a lot going on, and you prefer not to see each other before the ceremony.
Talk to me about your vision and hopes for the wedding, and I will help you decide whether your coverage would genuinely benefit from a second photographer.
-
I always bring multiple cameras and tools to any event that can’t be replicated.
I work with professional digital cameras that have 2 memory slots in each so that in the rare case that a memory card fails, a second copy is secure.
Alongside making sure to back up your photographs, I also make sure never to leave my gear in my car unattended.

This is a very serious situation, and one I do not take lightly. I would never want to leave a couple without a photographer on one of the most important days of their lives.
In the event of a serious illness or medical emergency, I have a trusted network of experienced photographers I can turn to - people I would confidently have capture a wedding in my place. That said, my work and reputation mean everything to me, and it would take something truly extreme—like a hospitalization or major physical injury—to prevent me from being there.
I take every precaution to stay healthy and in top form leading up to a wedding, and in all my years of photographing weddings, I’ve never missed a wedding nor been late to one. Should I ever need additional support for physical reasons, I would discreetly arrange that without impacting your experience.
-
Not a problem at all! I don’t charge extra for image privacy. Just let me know your preference during the booking process.

Travel is included for weddings and sessions within about 2 hours or 90 miles from Sacramento
For anything a bit farther out, I may add a travel fee to cover drive time and mileage.
If the location requires an overnight stay (usually if it’s 2.5+ hours away or has an early start), I’ll add a flat $300/night lodging fee.For out-of-state or flight-required weddings, I’ll send over a custom travel quote based on what’s needed.
You’re ready to book! What happens next?
Tell me about what your desired coverage and add-ons are, and I’ll create a quote for you. In order to reserve me for your date I just need a signed contract and a 50% retainer.
Once those are taken care of you’ll receive a confirmation and welcome email with a link to your client portal, my wedding client guide, and what to expect next in the following months.
