WEDDING PRICING GUIDE
It’s your wedding day,
not my photoshoot.
I believe that your love, community, and connections take center stage on this day, and there is nothing better than getting to live this day fully present, without manufacturing moments for a camera.
If you want your day to be about the people…
If being present is better than making it perfect…
If you’d rather live into the day rather than manufacture photo ops…
I think I might be a good fit for you.

9 HOURS - $6400
9, not 8 hours, because I truly believe that extra hour gives valuable breathing room in your timeline, allowing moments to unfold naturally without feeling rushed.
This package gives you the time and space to capture the full arc of your day - from the anticipation of getting ready, to relaxed family and newlywed portraits, all the way through the energy of your reception and nearly the end of the dance floor.
Recommended for weddings with 80+ guests or full-day celebrations where you want flexibility and fewer time constraints.
6 HOURS - $5400
This package typically begins about an hour before the ceremony with family portraits and concludes shortly after the special dances. It’s ideal for couples who don’t require getting ready coverage and don’t have a wedding party. With fewer hours, the timeline will be more intentional and focused to capture all the key moments efficiently.
Recommended for weddings with fewer than 80 guests or more streamlined celebrations.
4 HOURS - $3500
This option is available only for weddings with 40 guests or fewer (elopements and micro-weddings).
Need a little more time? Additional hours are $500 and can be added when you book, during planning, or even on the wedding day.

Being a documentary wedding photographer doesn’t mean I won’t interact with anyone or not take ANY portraits or group photos. It means your experience won’t be interrupted for the sake of a photograph, that the images made for you come from organic moments that are not fabricated or manufactured by me.
Your wedding day is about love, community, and connection - not about photos. We’ll craft a simple photo timeline that reflects your priorities - quick, classic portraits and family photos before the ceremony so you can enjoy the day fully.
-
Family portraits are important historical documentations! It’s a rare moment when everyone is together, dressed their best, and likely the photos you’ll first share as prints with loved ones!
I’ll capture the family photos you provide quickly and efficiently, making the process easy and painless for everyone involved.
I recommend scheduling immediate family portraits about an hour and a half before the ceremony, with any extended family photos taken during cocktail hour.
I recommend doing the immediate family photos an hour and a half before the ceremony, and any remaining extended family photos during cocktail hour.
-
Nearly all of my clients say this, you’re not alone :)
When it’s time for a few portraits, I’ll guide you to the best light, offer natural, simple directions, and keep it brief so you feel comfortable and at ease. No excessive PDA needed or spinning around in a field if that’s not your thing, and no need to spend hours away from your guests.
The wonderful thing about weddings is that it doesn’t need to revolve around photography. Live into your day and be present, and the photographs will simply reflect that.

Because I’m always searching for that decisive moment, I shoot digital for weddings so I don’t miss a beat.
Alongside making sure I avoid those half-blinks or half expressions by being able to take multiple images of the same scene, my workflow currently works best with modern gear that is flexible in all types of lighting conditions and that have the ability to write data in two separate cards for redundancy. I’m able to back up the images further on hard drives once I get home as well.
-
Your wedding gallery is typically delivered 4-6 weeks after the wedding. For a full day wedding you can expect about 450-600 final images.
Images are delivered as high-resolution JPG files available to download through your online gallery.
You have full personal usage rights, including printing and sharing.
-
I photograph nearly all weddings as a single shooter as a personal preference, and my clients appreciate the smaller media footprint this leaves at their event and allows me to blend in well to get those candids.
There are times when adding a second photographer is beneficial to your coverage, such as:
1. You’re getting ready in two different locations and want coverage of each side at the same time.
2. You’ve invested heavily into the details and design of your wedding and want to ensure those are captured comprehensively.
3. Your timeline has a lot going on, and you prefer not to see each other before the ceremony.
Talk to me about your vision and hopes for the wedding, and I will help you decide whether your coverage would genuinely benefit from a second photographer.
-
Yep! I have loads of back up equipment, and equipment and liability insurance as all professional photographers should have. If your venue needs me to send a COI, just let me know ahead of time.
-
This is a very serious situation, and one I do not take lightly. I would never want to leave a couple without a photographer on one of the most important days of their lives.
In the event of a serious illness or medical emergency, I have a trusted network of experienced photographers I can turn to - people I would confidently have capture a wedding in my place. That said, my work and reputation mean everything to me, and it would take something truly extreme—like a hospitalization or major physical injury—to prevent me from being there.
I take every precaution to stay healthy and in top form leading up to a wedding, and in all my years of photographing weddings, I’ve never missed a wedding nor been late to one. Should I ever need additional support for physical reasons, I would discreetly arrange that without impacting your experience.
-
If you cancel the wedding, you will forfeit the retainer that held your date. If you are postponing due to circumstances beyond your control (such as covid during 2020), you can transfer your existing retainer to a new date, as long as I am available for the new date.
-
Not a problem at all! I don’t charge extra for image privacy. Just let me know your preference during the booking process.
-
Travel is included for weddings and sessions within about 2 hours or 90 miles of Sacramento.
For anything a bit farther out, I may add a travel fee to cover drive time and mileage.
If the location requires an overnight stay (usually if it’s 2.5+ hours away or has an early start), I’ll add a flat $300/night lodging fee.For out-of-state or flight-required weddings, I’ll send over a custom travel quote based on what’s needed.
You’re ready to book! What happens next?
Tell me about what your desired coverage and add-ons are, and I’ll create a quote for you. In order to reserve me for your date I just need a signed contract and a 50% retainer.
Once those are taken care of you’ll receive a confirmation and welcome email with a link to your documents, my wedding client guide, and what to expect next in the following months.
