PRICING GUIDE

IT’S YOUR WEDDING DAY, NOT MY PHOTOSHOOT.

INVITED BY: YOU AND YOUR FUTURE SPOUSE
INTENDED FOR: YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE, 10 YEARS FROM NOW
THE GOAL: TO TELL THE STORY OF YOUR WEDDING DAY WITHOUT BEING OBTRUSIVE OR FABRICATING MOMENTS; AND TO DO SO WITH EMPATHY AND A CALMING ENERGY.

THE FULL DAY
9 HOURS - $6400

9, not 8 hours, because I truly believe that extra hour gives valuable breathing room in your timeline, allowing moments to unfold naturally without feeling rushed.

This package captures the full arc of your day - from the anticipation of getting ready, to relaxed family and newlywed portraits, all the way through the energy of your reception and nearly the end of the dance floor. It leaves room for all the main events, the unexpected candid moments in between, and impromptu group photos with your childhood friends. It’s my favorite way to document a wedding and all its people, and gives you the space to move through the day without feeling the need to squeeze anything in.

I recommend this package for couples who don’t want to compromise. I’ll be there with you the whole day.

ALL WEDDING PACKAGES INCLUDE:

  • My wedding client guide - A collection of articles I've written from my experience as a wedding photographer for insight into the photography side of your day.

  • A online portal for convenient access to all your documents

  • Approximately 50+ high resolution photographs delivered per hour of coverage in a mix of B&W and color, with personal use and printing rights

QUESTIONS / MORE INFO

  • Family portraits are important historical documentations! It’s a rare moment when everyone is together, dressed their best, and likely the photos you’ll first share as prints with loved ones.

I’ll capture the family photos you provide quickly and efficiently, making the process easy and painless for everyone involved.

I recommend doing the immediate family photos an hour and a half before the ceremony, and any remaining extended family photos during cocktail hour.

  • Nearly all of my clients say this, you’re not alone :)

When it’s time for a few portraits, I’ll guide you to the best light, offer natural, simple directions, and keep it brief so you feel comfortable and at ease. No excessive PDA needed or spinning around in a field if that’s not your thing, and no need to spend hours away from your guests.

The wonderful thing about weddings is that it doesn’t need to revolve around photography. Live into your day and be present, and the photographs will simply reflect that.

  • Because I’m always searching for that decisive moment, I shoot digital for weddings so I don’t miss a beat.

Alongside making sure I avoid those half-blinks or half expressions by being able to take multiple images of the same scene, my workflow currently works best with modern gear that is flexible in all types of lighting conditions and that have the ability to write data in two separate cards for redundancy. I’m able to back up the images further on hard drives once I get home as well.

  • Your wedding gallery is typically delivered 4-6 weeks after the wedding. For a full day wedding you can expect at least 450 final images, or 50-75 images per hour of coverage.

Images are delivered as high-resolution JPG files available to download through your online gallery.

You have full personal usage rights, including printing and sharing.

  • I photograph nearly all weddings as a single shooter as a personal preference, and my clients appreciate the smaller media footprint this leaves at their event and allows me to blend in well to get those candids.

There are times when adding a second photographer is beneficial to your coverage, such as:

    1. You’re getting ready in two different locations and want coverage of each side at the same time.

    2. You’ve invested heavily into the details and design of your wedding and want to ensure those are captured comprehensively.

    3. Your timeline has a lot going on, and you prefer not to see each other before the ceremony.

Talk to me about your vision and hopes for the wedding, and I will help you decide whether your coverage would genuinely benefit from a second photographer.

  • Yep! I have loads of back up equipment, and equipment and liability insurance as all professional photographers should have. If your venue needs me to send a COI, just let me know ahead of time.

  • This is a very serious situation, and one I do not take lightly. I would never want to leave a couple without a photographer on one of the most important days of their lives.

In the event of a serious illness or medical emergency, I have a trusted network of experienced photographers I can turn to - people I would confidently have capture a wedding in my place. That said, my work and reputation mean everything to me, and it would take something truly extreme—like a hospitalization or major physical injury—to prevent me from being there.

I take every precaution to stay healthy and in top form leading up to a wedding, and in all my years of photographing weddings, I’ve never missed a wedding nor been late to one. Should I ever need additional support for physical reasons, I would discreetly arrange that without impacting your experience.

  • If you cancel the wedding, you will forfeit the retainer that held your date. If you are postponing due to circumstances beyond your control (such as covid during 2020), you can transfer your existing retainer to a new date, as long as I am available for the new date.

  • Not a problem at all! I don’t charge extra for image privacy. Just let me know your preference during the booking process.

  • Travel is included for weddings and sessions within about 2 hours or 90 miles of Sacramento.

For anything a bit farther out, I may add a travel fee to cover drive time and mileage.

If the location requires an overnight stay (usually if it’s 2.5+ hours away or has an early start), I’ll add a flat $300/night lodging fee.

For out-of-state or flight-required weddings, I’ll send over a custom travel quote based on what’s needed.

You’re ready to book! What happens next?

Tell me about what your desired coverage and add-ons are, and I’ll create a quote for you. In order to reserve me for your date I just need a signed contract and a 50% retainer.

Once those are taken care of you’ll receive a confirmation and welcome email with a link to your documents, my wedding client guide, and what to expect next in the following months.
