Family sessions with me are relaxed, child-led, and pressure-free. There’s no expectation of perfection, just space for your family to be yourselves. I value genuine smiles and honest emotions, and focus on real, uncoerced moments and the quiet ways your family naturally moves through and uses the spaces of your home.

SESSIONS
Sessions are unrushed, usually child-led or activity-led and starts in your home. We’ll take our time together slowly with no pressure to perform or make use of every single minute. We’ll start with a short conversation about the kinds of images speak to you and what feels most meaningful for you to remember. From there, I’ll spend time with your family for a morning, afternoon, or evening, observing and photographing as things naturally unfold until we’ve made the images you were hoping for.
About 2-3 weeks after our time together, you’ll receive your photographs in a private online gallery.

EXTENDED SESSIONS
For families who want more time, extended sessions allow us to move slowly through a larger part of the day, spanning morning to evening, with an emphasis on the unscripted photographic documentary of your full day. The extra time is especially helpful with children ages 4+, allowing everyone to settle in at their own pace.
Sacramento area: $2000
Bay Area: $2500
MINI SESSIONS
These 30 minute sessions are a bit more guided and are ideal for families who want a quick updated family portrait. Available to book up to 1 month in advance.
Sacramento / Elk Grove weekday: $450
